 Hello!.. Jen has welcomed me with open arms to her blog for the week to share with you my Illinois. So, welcome! I'm Jen and Chicago is where I call home. As an east coast girl transported to this mid-western urban sprawl that is Chicago, I have a bit of a skewed perspective on this town and its surroundings. I come from one of the oldest cities in our country, so Chicago and southern Illinois look so fresh and new to me! I must stress also that it is incredibly, impossibly FLAT in this part of the world; no windy roads or hilliness to speak of anywhere, really.... just expansive flatness as far as the eye can see. Did I say it was incredible? Well, it is. And this time of year is my absolute favorite time of year to photograph Illinois... so over the last few months of beautiful autumn I have chosen seven days in particular to capture my Illinois .
